This is a large, very decorative and collectible Vintage Japanese Hibachi, circa 1890 from the Meiji period (1868–1912).This Paulownia wood … Read more This is a large, very decorative and collectible Vintage Japanese Hibachi, circa 1890 from the Meiji period (1868–1912).This Paulownia wood carved hibachi (brazier/planter) features high-relief gilt and mother-of-pearl (raden) inlays depicting chrysanthemums, autumn floral motifs, and insects, complete with a copper interior liner. Some barely noticeable pieces of the inlay are missing. The copper insert has original natural patina. Dimensions. Diameter 10 3/4”, Height 7 3/14”. See less
