It features a layered, three-dimensional structure where the top tier of stones overlays a base ring of stones, giving the piece a rounded profile. stones are navettes (boat-shaped/marquise cut stones), characterized by their elongated oval silhouettes that taper to sharp points at both ends. Although the original hang tag is absent from this peice, several indicators in the construction make it possible to verify. For instance, D&E used these hollow rivets (as seen on back) to connect multi-tiered layers and secure pin mechanisms. The hollow rivets allow light to pass through. See less
