A substantial vintage Frederick Cooper Lamps of Chicago accent table lamp combining richly finished mahogany wood with an ornate classical metal base. The tall turned wood column rises from a square plinth and decorative cylindrical brass/bronze-tone section embellished in high relief with winged classical figures, laurel wreaths, ribboned garlands, and neoclassical ornament. Its unusually tall, architectural proportions give it strong presence as a library, study, entryway, or traditional living-room lamp.
The included 16" fabric shade has a warm neutral damask-style floral scroll pattern that complements the dark mahogany and aged metal finishes.
