Original Artist: Unidentified artist, created in the style/manner of Tang dynasty painter Zhou Fang (ca. 780–810).
Period: Song Dynasty (960–1279), dated to the 11th century.

Genre: Part of the traditional jiaying tu ("children at play") genre, which flourished in the Song dynasty to celebrate family life, maternal warmth, and domestic harmony.
