Extremely rare and magnificent this wall paper in Japonism style has it all , completely hand painted, it is truly … Read more Extremely rare and magnificent this wall paper in Japonism style has it all , completely hand painted, it is truly a pieces of art by the quality of it s design, the wonderful color combination , and of course it s style that was very in vogue from the late 18 hundreds to 1920 in France , only a few survive and it s totally unseen , we never had this quality in 30 years and in this quantity a little over 66 feet of paper , 5 roll of 8'.10 , two of 8' and one of 6'3" on 19 " W . The repeat of the motif 19 inch is convenient . The charm of this paper is fabulous with all the lovely vegetation, the clouds , the pagoda and of course the lovely feminine figure holding a basket , the use of strong unexpected combination of colors and highlight of gold in the design is an outstanding success .It is not without reminding us the quality of brands like Zuber and other that would sale this level for new more than what we priced it for antique , if you divide by yard , you will notice that it s quite a deal . This would give a unique opportunity for a unique high end project , it is truly more art than anything. please refer to condition report below See less
