This vintage coffee table is pure drama — cut from Verde Alpi, a marble quarried in Italy's Aosta Valley— prized for its deep, forest-green color and the dramatic white veining that seems to move like lightning across the stone. The substantial beveled top is polished to a rich shine, with the veining flowing continuously down into the pedestal base, so the whole piece reads as one sculptural block. Verde Alpi found its moment in Italian furniture and architecture through the '70s and '80s, and this table is a confident, unapologetic piece of that era.
