This is a traditional Japanese Bijin-ga (painting/print of beautiful women) portrait, styled after classical Nihonga or Japanese screen painting traditions.
Artwork Details
Subject: Two women styled with classical Nihongan hairstyles, adorned with gold kanzashi (ornate hairpins) and white motoyoi ribbons. They are clad in traditional kimonos featuring floral motifs (plum and cherry blossoms).
Format: Circular (tondo) composition mounted inside an octagonal gilt frame with a white mat border.

Japanese Signature & Seal: Located on the right edge, written in Japanese characters alongside a red artist square seal (hanko).
