I bought this iconic Knoll Mies van der Rohe coffee table in 2000 (along with 4 matching Knoll Mies van … Read more I bought this iconic Knoll Mies van der Rohe coffee table in 2000 (along with 4 matching Knoll Mies van der Rohe Barcelona chairs; see my other listings) from an insurance company in West Des Moines, Iowa, so the table has had only two owners: the insurance company and me. The frame is stainless steel (not chrome) and in excellent condition. This table (and the chairs) were manufactured in 1970 (the chairs have dated labels). The beveled glass is original and has tiny chips on two corners, but they are mostly indiscernible from the top (see photo from beneath the table). There are also slight buff marks where the four corners of the base touch the underside of the glass; again, they are very slight.

The frame is stamped on the bottom side of the center of base with a K P 1. I love this classic table, and you will, too! See less
