Marked with a small 5-pointed star stamped directly into the reverse cast metal. This served as their trademark before the company began using formal written brand marks like LEDO (1940s). The stepped, angular zigzag rows set with pave-set chatons and baguette rhinestones give the clips a shooting-star or architectural sunburst profile. The stepped V-shaped rows (chevrons) fan outward to form a multi-pointed star profile radiating from a central crescent arch. The tiered, geometric layers mimic the classic 1930s "skyscraper" and fan motifs iconic to the Art Deco movement. A truly historical item. See less
