A remarkable piece due to its rich folk art decoration and striking use of color. The painted panels feature characteristic motifs, including trees of life, a Sacred Heart, and charming village scenes. The chest has been restored in the past and was originally designed to be disassembled. To ensure its stability, the piece has since been secured. The interior is fitted with shelves and a clothes rod. It locks with the original, imposing lock. The cabinet shows a few sporadic signs of old woodworm damage but has been thoroughly inspected and treated. A highly distinctive and rare piece of furniture with rich decoration and a beautiful historic charm. 191 cm high, 156 cm wide, 58 cm deep. See less
