An antique trumeau, restored and finished with a satin-black lacquer.
The new color highlights the contoured profile, the moldings, and the elegant structure on turned legs.

The black finish gives the piece a more minimalist and contemporary look, while still allowing the proportions and details of the original structure to shine through. When the drop-leaf is opened, the writing desk reveals a green insert that creates a pleasing contrast with the finish.

The small ivory-colored knobs preserved on the interior add delicate accents of light and evoke the piece’s period character.
