This is a compact sideboard from the 1960s, manufactured by VEB Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau.
The cabinet features a characteristic semi-circular recessed handle. It stands on slender metal legs that can be extended by 5 cm.
The sides are finished with a contrasting black upholstery coating.
This versatile sideboard could also be used as a shoe cabinet or a bench for an entryway.
