Each fish is constructed from vibrant translucent slag glass panels framed with delicate metal detailing, creating linear patterns reminiscent of fish bones or a stylized skeleton. Warm copper sheet heads and dimensional folded copper tail fins provide a sculptural contrast to the glass and develop the rich, naturally aged character expected of vintage copper.

The six fish are elevated on individual copper rods of varying heights, creating the impression of a school swimming together. An especially appealing design feature is that each fish is removable, allowing the individual pieces to be repositioned and the composition customized on the substantial solid walnut wood base.

At 27 inches wide, this is an impressive, generously scaled decorative sculpture with considerable visual presence while maintaining an airy quality through the translucent glass.
