Designed by noted Danish sculptor Laurits Jensen, model #2061 beautifully captures the sporting dog in motion, with finely modeled fur, expressive features and a bird held gently in its mouth. The soft gray-brown and white underglaze decoration is characteristic of Bing & Grøndahl’s celebrated animal figures.

At nearly 10 inches long, this is a substantial and highly decorative example. An appealing addition to a collection of Danish porcelain, Scandinavian decorative arts, sporting and hunting decor, or antique and vintage dog figures.
