A very unusual and sought-after teak dining table, designed by the well-known danish furniture designer niels o. Møller and manufactured by j.l. Møllers møbelfabrik in denmark. The table has the model number 254 and is an exquisite example of danish furniture art where elegance, function and craftsmanship are combined at the highest level.
the design is characteristic of niels o. Møller with soft, well-balanced lines and a light, almost floating expression. The tapered legs have a beautiful wedge-shaped profile and connect seamlessly to the frame. The softly rounded edges and the carefully processed transitions testify to solid craftsmanship and a great sense of detail.
the table is equipped with two generous extendable leaves that are stored integrated into the table when not in use. The leaves can be used individually or together, making it easy to adapt the size of the table to both everyday needs and larger dinner parties.
with both extendable leaves in place, the table reaches a maximum length of 237 cm and offers plenty of space for up to ten people. The integrated leaves are always close at hand and make the table as practical as they are beautiful.
despite its generous size, the table has a neat and airy expression. The timeless design means that it fits just as well in a classic scandinavian environment as it does with furniture from other eras.
the legs can be easily dismantled for transport.
