Børge Mogensen is considered one of the most important designers in Danish furniture design. He trained as a cabinetmaker and furniture designer and studied under Kaare Klint at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Mogensen's designs are characterized by simplicity, function and great respect for materials and proportions. His goal was to create furniture for everyday life that could be used and appreciated for a long time.

Fredericia was founded in 1911 under the name Fredericia Stolefabrik. In 1955, the company began a close collaboration with Børge Mogensen, who became its first house designer. Together with company director Andreas Graversen, Mogensen contributed to shaping the clear and quality-conscious design tradition that Fredericia is still known for.

The table has a slim teak top with softly rounded corners and a warm, beautiful wood tone. The base consists of oval and tapered oak legs, which gives the table a characteristic Scandinavian expression. The combination of teak and oak makes it easy to place together with furniture in both types of wood.

Between the pairs of legs there is a practical wicker magazine shelf that provides generous extra storage space without losing the airy expression. There is plenty of space here for magazines, books, remote controls and other small items.

The coffee table is in very good condition with only a few minor signs of wear. The wicker is intact and nice. See less
