Combining outstanding cabinetmaking with timeless architectural design, this rare piece is a superb example of high-quality post-war Italian furniture. Beautifully proportioned, the console features two integrated drawers with elegant brass accents, complemented by two open storage compartments that create a refined balance between functionality and sculptural design. The sculptural brass pedestal, distinguished by its graceful arched cut-outs and beautifully developed natural patina, provides a striking contrast to the warmth of the walnut while giving the cabinet an elegant, almost floating appearance. Unlike many comparable pieces, this console is completely finished on all four sides, allowing it to be positioned freely within an interior.
