A pair of Italian Art Deco cabinets attributed to Paolo Buffa, Italy, circa 1940s. The cabinets feature a blonde wood interior fitted with a hanging rod, adjustable shelving, a locking drop-front compartment, and a bank of drawers, with mirrored side panels and brass trim along the case edges. Please note: the original rosewood doors with fruitwood marquetry flower inlays and copper-toned mirror details are not included with this sale. The cabinets are offered as open-front pieces, well suited for use as a display wardrobe, open closet, or boutique fixture, or as a base for a custom door replacement.
Paolo Buffa (1903–1970) was a prominent Italian architect and furniture designer known for elegant, refined mid-century interiors that bridged Art Deco tradition with modernist restraint.
