A very elegant French style porcelain cachepot vase in a beautiful Neoclassical urn shape and beautifully hand-painted with a vibrant array of botanical elements, including lush fruits (peaches, grapes, berries), fluttering butterflies, and delicate insects set against a crisp white porcelain ground. The flared rim is bordered with a rich turquoise enamel band and gilded accents, resting atop a raised gilt base.
This is a mid to late 20th century Chinese export porcelain (1960s–1980s).
