Peter Keil is a German artist who focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few.
This is an incredible abstract portrait painted in a very Picasso-style manner. It is signed “P. Keil” in the lower right corner and executed with acrylic on board and framed. It is titled and signed "Studio Paris - Pablo Picasso and Me, P. Keil" on the verso.
This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.
This piece has wear consistent with age.
