He routinely showed fine-art pieces in Miami, New York City, and European countries including Germany.

TMNK was a local-level street artist who got famous very quickly. In 2016, TMNK committed suicide, and after his passing, his precious pieces of original artwork have skyrocketed in value. Experts are currently comparing him to Jean-Michel Basquiat.

This piece, “Langston,” is an original painting exhibited at N’NAMDI Gallery during the world premiere of the TMNK documentary, shown as part of Art Basel Miami 2021.

This piece was purchased from a friend of TMNK by the Bowen family and comes with a certificate of authenticity from Bowen Art Reserve LLC.
