This mid-century teak cylinder roll top desk has three large drawers, great for storage. It is in fine shape and has the original key which locks the top. Under the roll top is a pull-out writing table, 3 inside drawers and 5 open cubbies to keep materials organized.
The desk is a warm honey brown color. Made in Scandinavia, it has the SMI label indicating it was manufactured under supervision of Svensk Mobelindustri in the 1960’s and styled by Egon Ostergaard.
There are only slight signs of wear outside, consistent with age. There is a mark inside the middle drawer, it is not visible from outside and does not detract from the appeal or function of the desk.
