A striking circa-1970 bracelet by celebrated Greek goldsmith Ilias Lalaounis, handcrafted in richly hued 22-karat yellow gold. The sculptural design features a graduated, hand-hammered ribbed body finished with spherical terminals decorated in intricate applied granulation.
Inspired by ancient Greek and Neolithic ornament, the bracelet combines archaeological references with bold 1970s modernism. Its hinged construction allows for comfortable wear while maintaining a strong, continuous silhouette. Substantial at 61.80 grams, it is signed Ilias Lalaounis and bears Greek workshop marks.
