Beautifully presented in their original brass frames, the works demonstrate Thornton’s exceptional mastery of line, texture, and perspective, qualities that established her as one of Britain’s foremost architectural printmakers.

The first etching, Artist’s Proof, explores an abstracted geometric cityscape through a carefully balanced arrangement of architectural forms and rhythmic linear detail. The second, a limited edition impression (29/30), depicts the richly ornamented façade of a Gothic cathedral with remarkable precision, capturing the grandeur and intricacy of medieval stonework.
