Her arched panelled doors open to a deep recess. Below, five fielded panels and three short drawers rest behind brass pulls and her cornice finishes her beautifully. She carries the marks of her years without apology. Useful and beautiful in equal measure.We see this piece being used proudly in a kitchen or dining room, stacked with folded linens. Big enough to store folding chairs and seat cushions. But would be just as at home in a hallway, filled with coats and shoes, quietly stealing the show without asking for attention.Not perfect.
