Each blade is marked with a stamp that reads "Landers Frary & Clark Aetna Work:". Each measures just shy of six inches long x 5/8th inches at widest blade point x 3/16th of an inch deep.

All six are in excellent antique condition The mother of pearl handles are structurally sound with no cracks, chips, fissures, surface abrasions, or issues of note. The blades display some minor tarnish with no silver plate loss, pitting, or flaking. Sterling silver ferrules again exhibit some tarnish but no dents, cracks, or issues of note. The Landers, Frary & Clark Aetna Works facility in New Britain, Connecticut was established in 1866. Manufacturing table cutlery and blades. By the early twentieth century it was one of the largest and most successful cutlery producers in the world. The company ceased operation in 1965. See less
