The mood is dark. The skies are gray. Even the coppery rock formations are tinged with gray in overcast morning light. A marked difference in palette from the "Purple Mountain's Majesty" of its counterparts in the "lower 48."
Understated. Controlled palette. Interesting patterns as defined by light and shadow. A wonderful addition to a sophisticated collection.
