This piece features the classic craftsmanship Jamestown was famous for during the early-to-mid 20th century. It features highly stylized, turned baluster legs and a dual-swinging "gate" mechanism to expand the table surfaces. the original stamp/marking underneath reading "Elite Furniture Jamestown, New York.
Elite Furniture Co. (Jamestown, NY). It is only 11 inches in width with the gate legs folded, when it is opened fully it is 41.25 inches in width in an oval shape. It is 29.75 inches in depth in the middle and 29.5 inches in height.
Circa 1920s-1940s, Excellent vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. Rich dark Mahogany / Walnut finish, Colonial Revival /Jacobean Revival / Traditional Style.
