Each dome and panel is studded with bezel-set "gems," a decorative language drawn from 1950s revivalist jewelry and continental lighting design. Warm gold-toned metalwork creates a dramatic contrast with the jewel-like glass, producing a diffuse, glowing effect when lit. The fixture suspends from heavy linked chain and terminates in a classical finial ring at the base-a detail reminiscent of earlier ecclesiastical or Venetian-inspired lighting forms.
