c. 1970s/1980s; Ethan Allen, Inc. - Beecher Falls, VT
Classic leather wingback lounge chair paired with its original matching ottoman, upholstered in deep red top-grain leather with traditional button tufting across the backrest, wings, and seat. The chair features rolled arms with brass nailhead trim, a tall, enveloping wingback profile, and a solid hardwood base with square legs, giving it a confident, grounded presence. The matching ottoman mirrors the chair's proportions and finish, providing a clean visual counterpoint with its smooth leather top and restrained profile. Rich color saturation and visible grain give the leather a lived-in, library-ready character that leans more club-room than formal parlor.
