These amazing and gorgeous Italian Mid Century Modern bulbous Murano glass table lamps are fully restored from top to bottom. … Read more These amazing and gorgeous Italian Mid Century Modern bulbous Murano glass table lamps are fully restored from top to bottom. They are from the 50;s. and had their original very dated metal leafed old world bases and top fittings. We now have modernized them with very custom lucite bases, new brass tops, new wiring, and clear plastic cords along with a chain pull. They were totally cleaned and taken apart. Now spectacular and amazing.
Their sensual bulbous shape and color are the key factors of these beauties.
The fabulous and unusual color of the Murano glass changes with the play of light and is so hard to describe. They have a light golden yellow infused with a light olive green with abundant gold aventurine throughout.
They are attributed to the works of Barovier e Toso and Seguso. They are Italian, vintage and rare. The Murano glass part alone is 17" W x 13" D x 17" H. The lucite bases alone are 10" w x 10" D x 2.5" H. They are 39" H to the top of the finial, 33" H to top of the socket and the brass pole that is original is 11" H. The Murano sphere is what makes them so very special and elegant.
You will not find another pair around. These will be a focal attraction in your home.
