They are stately and elegant and can bridge many decors be it mid century modern, modern, traditional, transitional and even contemporary.
They are Murano glass lamps with mottled and speckled champagne and gold leaf aventurine inclusions in great abundance. The gold inclusions that look like a splattered painting.
The original brass hardware and appointments have all been polished. They were rewired with gold plastic cord and taken apart and cleaned in the interior glass. They had the original brown European cord and wiring.
The semi bell shaped bottom adds a great form. The brass fittings are trimmed with fluted columns and brass rings and base. All is original.
Maison Bagues was established in 1840 and produced lighting with handblown Murano glass and Parisian Neoclassical elegance. Classic, beautiful and ready to be in your home.
The measurements are: 38" H to top of finial. 29" H to top of socket, the glass portion to the bottom of the aocket is 21" H, the depth and width at the bottom is 7".
it will be extremely now difficult to find another pair in this marketplace and time. They do not come with shades.
