Featuring a reserved and muted pallet of gray blues, muted black, and cool deeply hued red, the cubist inspired portrait features a distinct masculine figure with quickly rendered features and bold modeling, leaving brush strokes and dynamic movement visible across the surface. The twirling beard of the figure denotes potential mythological or religious themes, while the minimal rendering and ambiguity cements the painting as highly modern.
