The form is utilitarian and symmetrical, with four shallow drawers stacked vertically on one face, each fitted with small brass-tone pulls. While the exterior finish is an opaque painted surface (doing this piece no favors aesthetically), the interior drawer construction tells a better story-warm-toned hardwood interiors with mid-century machining marks and joinery that firmly place it in the postwar period.
