Ansel Adams' first edition, second printing, An Autobiography, begins with the essence of his storied career and mastery of a visual art marked by black-and-white contrasts of California landscapes within the Sierra Nevada Range of Light. A third book's premium pages with a handsome storage shell reveal a stunning transformation of Tibetan culture into a series of Asian art, a pristine edition from The Bowers Museum of Santa Ana presenting a panoramic view of Tibetan ritual and imagery, offering cultural insights into intense devotion to highland life and ritual.
