Created in the 1980s, this tabletop sculpture combines a silver- and brass-plated metal frame with a dark-stained rectangular wooden base. The ship features intricate detailing: a raised hull, three masts, curved metal sails, rigging made of fine wires, and small, wavy flags. Several sails are adorned with stylized crosses, evoking the Spanish maritime iconography associated with the great voyages of the late 15th century.
