Model 8604 bed, designed by Osvaldo Borsani in collaboration with artist Arnaldo Pomodoro, produced by Tecno between 1958 and 1962.

The distinctive feature is the sculptural headboard by Pomodoro, composed of decorated brass panels inserted into a complexly designed interlocking structure. The bed also features 65 cm-high brass columns, topped with knobs, and chrome-plated metal bedframe bands—details that distinguish this first production from later series.

The bed has been assembled but never used: it is therefore in exceptional condition, with only very minor signs of age.
