Mid-century traveling salesman's display for Golf Pride grips, housed in its original black textured case with brass latches and fold-open presentation panels. Inside, a full selection of period grip styles is mounted for tactile demonstration, paired with printed promotional material showcasing professional golfers who endorsed the brand.
Eaton, Yale & Towne-better known for industrial hardware and lockmaking-expanded into molded rubber and polymer products in the mid-20th century, with its Flexi-Grip Division becoming one of the era's key producers of golf club grips. Golf Pride quickly emerged as the industry standard, used by professionals and amateurs alike.
The left interior panel features brand graphics, pro player portraits, and a feature list touting the company's patented "Traction Action" construction.
