A beautifully crafted Danish Modern teak credenza designed by Jens Quistgaard for Peter Løvig Nielsen, Denmark, circa 1970.
Showcasing the clean lines and exceptional craftsmanship that define Scandinavian Modern design, this elegant sideboard features two seamless tambour doors with distinctive aluminum pulls that glide effortlessly into the cabinet, revealing a thoughtfully designed interior. Adjustable shelving on each side is complemented by a central bank of four pull-out trays, with the upper tray retaining its original green felt lining, making the piece equally suited for dining storage, office organization, or use as a media console.
Constructed in richly figured teak and elevated on tapered solid teak legs, the credenza offers a light, floating profile while providing generous concealed storage. The fully finished back allows it to be floated in a room as a divider or placed away from a wall, making it ideal for open-concept interiors.
A timeless example of Danish cabinetmaking, this versatile piece effortlessly complements Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, Minimalist, and Contemporary interiors.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition.
The teak has a rich, warm patina with beautiful grain throughout. Tambour doors slide smoothly and the interior is clean and well preserved. There are light surface scratches to the top, and sides consistent with age and normal use. Overall, this credenza presents exceptionally well and is structurally sound. As seen in the photos there is a slight opening/gap when the tambour doors are fully closed, though this does not affect the overall function of this piece.
