The central oval panel depicts a traditional figural scene featuring a woman in an elegant Ao Dai gown holding an umbrella and fan, flanked by delicate floral motifs and a presentation vase on a root-wood stand. The central artwork is set within a handsome, deeply toned natural wood frame featuring exceptional hand-carved openwork fretwork corner brackets.

A highly textured, dimensional statement piece that layers beautifully into traditional French Chinoiserie salons, eclectic gallery wall grids, or grandmillennial interiors.

CONDITION DISCLOSURE & REPORT

Good vintage condition with strong structural integrity. To ensure complete transparency for trade designers and collectors, please note there is a localized section of missing mother-of-pearl inlay at the very base of the carved flower vase stand (clearly documented in the detailed macro gallery photographs). There are also MOP inlay missing here and there around the floral motifs, please see pictures.

The remaining figural elements, attire, and cascading floral border remain completely flat, flatly adhered, secure, and radiantly iridescent. The frame remains tight at the joints with light, age-appropriate surface shelf wear or scratch and shallow cut in one place as shown in the last picture. See less
