This lovely piece was acquired on a visit to Lake Como in Bellagio, Italy and has already traveled the world so that you can enjoy this authentic Italian landscape here at home.

The composition features a lively Italian waterway lined with historic buildings, distant bell towers, small boats, and softly rendered figures gathered along the canal. Delicate washes of dusty blue, warm cream, pale rose, ochre, olive, and brown create a romantic, sun-faded quality, while the reflections in the water add depth and movement.

The watercolor is presented beneath glass with a wide, textured ivory linen mat.
