alojzy siwecki (1912-1988) - polish painter associated with the krakow community. A graduate of the academy of fine arts in krakow. He studied under władysław jarocki and franciszek pautsch in 1932-37. After graduation, he completed a scholarship at the royal academy of fine arts in rome. Then he started teaching at the academy of fine arts in krakow, being a master for young artists. In 1955, he received an honorary diploma from the society of friends of fine arts in krakow. His works were presented at all important exhibitions at the association of artists and designers and at the salons of the society of friends of fine arts in krakow.
