Some things simply deserve to remain exactly as they have survived.
This exceptional pair of vintage hand-woven rattan table lamps features a beautifully sculptural hourglass silhouette wrapped in remarkably tight natural rattan weaving. Their organic form and warm honey tones embody everything we love about timeless Old Florida design.
Perhaps my favorite part of these lamps is what many would consider replacing—the original burlap shades. They remain with the lamps today, complete with the honest imperfections earned over decades of use. There are age spots and discoloration to the interiors, and one shade sits slightly higher than the other due to the original hardware and natural settling over time.
I chose to leave everything exactly as found, including the original harps and finials.
