This striking set of four square Japanese landscape art panels captures the classic theme of Shiki-Sansui (Four Seasons Mountain and Water Landscapes). Purchased in Japan during the 1970s or 1980s, these pieces beautifully transition through the year from left to right: Spring (pink cherry blossoms), Summer (lush green mountains and a waterfall), Autumn (vibrant red maple trees), and Winter (a village blanketed in snow).
Each piece features a printed reproduction of the signature 智久 (Tomohisa) along with a traditional red artist stamp (落款, Rakkan). The clean, minimalist silver aluminum frames provide a wonderful Mid-Century Modern or Asian Modern aesthetic, bridging traditional Japanese design with sleek vintage framing. They are equipped with rear hanging hardware and are ready to display as a cohesive four-panel gallery wall.
