An expressive original oil portrait on linen canvas depicting a man in traditional attire, signed “ALI-SH” and dated 1974–75 in the lower right corner. The painting features rich earth tones and visible palette-knife brushwork, giving the portrait depth and character.
The reverse retains its original Hayrapetyan Art Gallery label from Tehran, Iran, providing provenance and connecting the work to a well-known Tehran gallery of the period. The portrait is presented in its original dark wood frame with a gold-tone inner liner, ready to hang.
