German artist Petra Schott
translates human emotions, memories, and sensory experiences into expressive, lyrical abstractions. Inspired by nature and bodily presence, her work balances energetic brushwork with poetic, intuitive mark-making.

Working primarily with oil, acrylic, and charcoal on raw canvas, Schott builds rich layers while leaving space for the composition to breathe. Her dynamic process transforms an inner visual dialogue into a vibrant reality on the canvas.

Ultimately, Schott’s work invites viewers into a space of quiet contemplation, encouraging them to look inward and engage with their own emotional world. See less
