Measuring a commanding 41 inches tall by 30.5 inches wide framed, this vertical statement work masterfully captures a lush mountain valley blanketed in summer wildflowers, including daisies and red poppies.Pittman utilizes heavy, deliberate impasto and thick, textured brushstrokes to give the flora organic depth, which beautifully offsets the distant rolling blue ridges. The painting is hand-signed "JOHN PITTMAN" in paint along the lower right section of the composition. The piece comes beautifully housed in its original custom wood gallery frame with crisp dual matting, ready to anchor any mantle, entryway, or feature wall. Excellent vintage condition with bright colors, clean canvas tension, and very minimal frame wear. See less
