This exceptional Antique Persian Kashan Carpet, woven circa 1920, represents one of the finest productions of the renowned Kashan weaving workshops. Woven with luxurious imported Manchester wool, prized for its extraordinary softness, luster, and durability, the carpet reflects the highest standards of Persian craftsmanship during the early twentieth century.

The carpet features an elegant allover floral design without a dominant central medallion, creating a balanced and harmonious composition. The field is richly ornamented with scrolling vines, flowering branches, palmettes, rosettes, and stylized blossoms arranged with remarkable precision and symmetry. This sophisticated layout allows the eye to appreciate the entire composition rather than focusing on a single central motif, making it particularly desirable for both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Its rich golden camel field provides a warm and luminous background for the beautifully drawn floral motifs in deep sapphire blue, burgundy, rose, soft green, and ivory. The striking color combination is enhanced by a beautifully detailed midnight-blue main border filled with elegant floral scrolls and classical Persian ornamentation, creating a refined contrast that frames the field perfectly.

The use of Manchester wool gives the carpet a luxurious velvety texture and a soft, glowing surface that has become one of the hallmarks of the finest Kashan carpets. The weave is exceptionally fine, with crisp drawing and remarkable attention to detail throughout the composition.

Measuring 10' × 14', this is an ideal room-size carpet for a formal living room, dining room, library, or executive office. Its classic proportions, sophisticated palette, and outstanding decorative appeal make it equally suitable for traditional residences and elegant contemporary interiors.

The carpet remains in perfect condition, retaining its full pile, excellent structural integrity, and vibrant original colors. Such preservation is increasingly rare for an authentic Persian Manchester wool Kashan of this age and size.. See less
