The fixture is suspended from decorative cast brass hooks and was designed to hang perpendicular to a wall or ceiling, allowing the sign to be read from either direction. The sign has been rewired with a modern electrical cord and remains a striking example of mid-century commercial wayfinding used in theaters, restaurants, hotels, department stores, and other public buildings.
