A striking vintage studio pottery pitcher featuring an expressive crystalline glaze in layered shades of cobalt blue, lavender, charcoal, and soft gray. The hand-thrown form is finished with a deep lustrous glaze that contrasts beautifully with the flowing crystalline band wrapping the body, while the sculptural handle displays its own marbled blue-green glaze.
Equally compelling as functional pottery or display art, this signed vessel has a strong contemporary studio aesthetic that works well in modern, organic, postmodern, and collected interiors.
Incised signature to underside.
